Also businesses/restaurants/bars along the street are open for all services. You are allowed to stroll the streets with any beverage you choose on this evening.

Diane Taylor Stein and Rusty Burns, graduates of 1967, are sponsoring the first "CHS Annual Alumni Gathering on the Tchefuncte". The date is September 26th, 2 pm, at Friends's Restaurant in Madisonville. The event is open to all Alumni, Faculty, Coaches, Staff and Administration. Please bring your family as well. The "Le Bon Temps Roule" will be docked at Friend's to display class memorabilia, year books and to accomodate the CHS Alumni Foundation. "We are establishing a Tradition - A Tradition of Pride and Support for CHS Programs" It is time to honor our Alma Mata and refresh our high school friendships. This perpetual event will be held every year on Saturday following homecoming at Friend's on the Tchefuncte at 2pm. As this gathering gains momentum, individual classes are encouraged to organize re-union parties that coincide with the CHS fun filled weekend. We need your help to pass the word.
